Ultrasound: Delivering the Diagnostics Strategy of the Future

Date: Thursday 28 March 2019, 10:00am – 15:30pm
Venue: Edgbaston Park & Hotel Conference Centre, Birmingham
Hosted by the NIHR Community Healthcare MedTech and IVD Co-operative

Join clinicians, researchers, policy makers, healthcare innovators, commissioners and the diagnostics industry to discuss how to develop community-based ultrasound delivery at scale and pace.

This workshop aims to empower generalist decision making in community settings in the acute care pathway and support the delivery of acute ambulatory care, closer to home. Through interactive sessions with clinicians and diagnostics strategists we will explore the community clinical problems where ultrasound can make a difference and determine what new technological advances will be required to bring ultrasound to the front door of community healthcare delivery.

Who should attend?
Generalist and specialist clinicians working in acute care pathways, with particular focus on ambulatory care and care in community settings, researchers who have an interest in point-of-care imaging development and support, healthcare innovators, commissioners of community healthcare, representatives from the diagnostic imaging industry.
