The Oxford AHSN region is a leading national and international life sciences cluster. It is home to over 640 life sciences businesses – including healthcare, medical products, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics and informatics companies.

To help you navigate our region we have produced this interactive map which can be used to investigate the rich and complex nature of the connections between health, academia and the life sciences industries in our region.

The research and clinical assets pooled through the Oxford Academic Health Science Centre provide a deep resource for industry, with the Oxford AHSN strengthening wider regional opportunities. While industry is attracted to centres of strong R&D, this has to be linked to opportunities for early product launches in the home market to ensure competitiveness in a global market.
